Verdict

The progressive IS LOVE ALIVE was having just his third start over fences when falling at the last at Limerick while holding a clear advantage. Providing that hasn't affected his confidence, he should make amends. Winning point-to-pointer and hurdler Tiger Bay Lady made a very encouraging debut over fences when runner-up at Down Royal and her allowance should ensure she's competitive. Valentino's Choice is going well on the quick ground and though unable to cope with Corrigs at Clonmel he had some decent performers behind. Easter Hunt was still in front when coming to grief three out at Down Royal but Officer Cadet looked beaten when falling at the last at Downpatrick last month.
