Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer Hackets Folly doesn't appear to be progressing over timber but has probably found 3m too far on his last two starts. Dun Scaith has shown enough to suggest he'll be in the mix and he ran well for a long way after a long break at Kilbeggan. MELDRUM LAD has been showing progressive form in maidens culminating in a fair run on fast ground at Gowran where he didn't enjoy the best of runs. This looks within his capabilities and he can gain his first victory. Man Of God has been performing with credit in handicaps but has a penalty for his victory on the Flat as a two-year-old.
