In depth

Verdict

The top three in the weights carry penalties for bumper victories. JAKOBY might be good enough against moderate opposition as he was impressive at Downpatrick and this sort of trip should be within his capabilities. Lowtown Charlie, runner-up in a point, won by 10l over 2m4f at Listowel and could be smart. Lord Schnapps has been running over fences but Monition disappointed on ground with some give at Downpatrick after better performances on quicker going. Shetland Bus produced easily his best run to date on fast going over this trip at Cork and a repeat would see him in contention.
