PASS HYMN won a bumper here, when he had today's rival Ballybrowney Jack a long way behind, and though unable to add to that victory over timber his latest run, when making most until fading close home at Punchestown, suggests it won't be long coming. The latter has shown better form over timber and is the type to improve this summer while Arahecan, runner-up in a point in October, made a promising hurdling debut at Killarney last month and progress is virtually guaranteed. Ard Na Carraig has had plenty of chances and doesn't appear to have improved but Justice Ears showed his first sign of ability at Down Royal and it wouldn't take much more to get involved.
