In depth

Verdict

INGLEBY MACKENZIE won going away under Mike O'Connor at Clonmel last week and a 5lb penalty looks manageable. Rewritetherules is a winning point-to-pointer and hunter chaser racing from the bottom of the handicap though he was well beaten at Kilbeggan on Monday. Great Khan had been in good form before beating Wolfofallstreets nine lengths at Ballinrobe and should confirm the form while Batcio twice ran well when placed in the spring. Benefit Run will appreciate the return to quicker ground and looks a threat with Jack Foley's claim a bonus. The selection's stable companion Email Rose ran very well for second at Down Royal and can also get into the action.
