Verdict

RUBI LIGHT rolled back the years to beat Arnaud at Thurles with He'llberemembered well beaten in third. An entry in the Grand National suggests the winner is thought to be returning to something like his best, which included a Grade 1 victory over Joncol, and he can complete a double. Alderwood's last victory came in the 2013 Grand Annual at Cheltenham. He's been taking on much better company than this and is no forlorn hope to carry his big weight to victory. Fosters Cross won over hurdles in December but is better handicapped over the smaller obstacles while Your Busy hasn't run since October and went up 7lb for his earlier victory at Listowel where he had Cootamundra a long way behind.
