This is a poor contest and the testing conditions are likely to play a part. Winning point-to-pointer Plouios looks an out-and-out stayer who was going on at the finish over this trip on heavy ground at Naas and has the scope to do better. Monatomic looks as though he needs further, as does Speaker Connolly, though the latter was battling on at Down Royal last time. JACK WADE finished in front of him that day when returning from a long break. That was his first start on heavy ground and he won't need to improve much to take this.
