In depth

Verdict

Bright Light City was going strongly when falling three out at Fairyhouse but it was too far out to say he would have won. REAL APPEAL hasn't had much experience and has looked an improved performer on his two latest starts. He travelled well when runner-up to Wells China at Clonmel and the quicker ground here can enable him to get off the mark. Mountain Lough ran poorly at Cork last month but that was his first start since August and he's very well handicapped compared to his chase mark so looks a danger. Hurricane Jojo is running well and, along with the progressive Sweetheart Susan, can get competitive in another open contest.
