Verdict

Senecia, one of three penalised winners here, jumped really well in the main when making a winning start over fences at Ballinrobe and can only improve. The Banger Doyle put his jumping problems behind when making most at Tipperary and will ensure there's no hanging around. The Flier Begley scored over 2m3f at Down Royal and could find this on the short side, a remark that also applies to winning point-to-pointer and hurdler Watch House Cross. Galore Desassences, a winning bumper and three-times successful over hurdles, could be a nice chasing prospect but UNCLE PHIL, a winning bumper and hurdler, looks the type to do well over fences and can make a winning start.
