In depth

Verdict

EIGHT AND BOB posted a much better effort when runner-up at Downpatrick after some disappointing efforts. He may finally be ready to score over hurdles given today’s modest opposition. Wild Desire was placed over these obstacles last month but returned a losing favourite at Gowran last time while Mr Moondance went close at Sligo in June. The veteran Realta Rathcabhain wasn’t beaten far at Punchestown but hasn’t won since 2015 but Josephina may finish closer now handicapping for the first time.
