Verdict

Authorative is better over further but was leading at this trip when headed at the last over 2m4f at Punchestown and will make a bold bid despite being put up another 2lb. Hallmark has been improving with each run after a long break but had no answer to TEQANY at Gowran and there isn't much in it at the weights. The winner is only four and progressing nicely so will be difficult to beat. Just A Normal Day scored over fences here last month before swapping stables and carrying a big weight into second over hurdles at Downpatrick. He looks certain to go well while Cairnhill doesn't look badly treated for his handicap debut.
