Verdict

FOUNTAINS WINDFALL reverts to novice company after a couple of fine runs in top-class handicaps at Kempton and Sandown. He has a 6lb penalty to carry but that should not prevent a return to winning ways. Like The Sound won a maiden at Uttoxeter before being thwarted by the late surge of Captain Buck’s at Kempton and rates a danger with Tommy Dowling again taking off 7lb. Brynmawr wasn’t beaten far at Fontwell on his third start over timber and holds An Siltean on the form book. Chinatown Boy may need this, however, but Cornish Warrior can only improve on his third at Ffos Las.
