Verdict

Midnight Midge didn’t appear to stay when behind Harlem Soul over track and trip on Boxing Day, though did reverse that form over 2m here last month. Cap Du Mathan has won his last two in the style of an improver but Shang Tang returns from a lengthy absence and Flagrant Delitiep doesn’t arrive in the same form as when landing this 12 months ago. There were high hopes for ANY NEWS last season but the promise hasn’t been realised. However, he wasn’t beaten far at Kempton last month and maybe the penny is dropping now. The Widdow Maker is fairly treated but has become hard to place.
