Verdict
Last Royal has placed at Chepstow and Exeter and was travelling like a winner when falling at Huntingdon on Boxing Day. Watergrange Jack, a bumper winner in Ireland, was second at Fontwell in January but still beaten 11 lengths. Paul Nicholls has won the last two renewals and Harry Cobden prefers KAYF TAOI to Makin'yourmindup. The Kayf Tara gelding ran green on his hurdling debut at Hereford but was still beaten under a length and he’ll know more today. Storm Lord is probably better than he’s shown so far but will qualify for handicaps after this.
