    Verdict

IN REM steps up a grade under a penalty but easily completed a double at Exeter 11 days ago so a hat-trick beckons. Earth Business should be winning soon and has been dropped 2lb since second at Fontwell, though improvement is required. Don Alvaro ran his best race so far when third at Taunton but was still beaten almost 20 lengths and doesn’t look particularly well treated on his handicap debut.
