Verdict

Who's Micky Brown has disappointed on three hurdle starts and seems best watched at present, although he ought to make his presence felt in a contest lacking any depth. Four-time Flat winner Unison makes his hurdling bow for Jeremy Scott and is a potentially interesting recruit but this rates a good chance for CRIN AU VENT (NAP) to oblige on his first start for the champion trainer. A resilient winner of an Auteuil hurdle in September from Consul De Thaix, the form received a massive boost last weekend when the latter finished a close-up third on his British debut in the Triumph Hurdle Trial on Cheltenham trials day behind Protek Des Flos and Clan Des Obeaux.
