Verdict

Natural History was a useful middle-distance performer on the Flat, winning three times. But he didn’t find as much as expected off the bridle on his hurdling debut at Plumpton and could be worth taking on here with LUCKY ONE (NAP), who is still improving even though he didn’t get home up the Cheltenham hill last time. Lilly Pedlar defied market expectations when second at Ludlow in December and Sergeant has shown a glimmer of ability.
