Verdict
EXPLAINED is no more than a token selection in a race in which the market should be closely monitored. Tim Vaughan's five-year-old is from a decent family and related to a couple of hurdle winners in France. Somchine's dam was a bumper winner but he may do better when tackling longer trips while there is little in Aztec Flo's pedigree to suggest she'll turn out to be anything special.
