Mr Fickle has won off a higher mark than this in the past but his recent wide-margin victory on very quick ground at Plumpton was undoubtedly flattering. Patsys Castle is being readied for a summer campaign and is probably a couple of pounds too high on his return while Chepstow winner Rafafie possibly needs soft going to show his best. GULSHANIGANS has gone close twice in two starts at Ludlow since the turn of the year. He’s still creeping up the weights but a first career victory here would be no surprise.
