Verdict
No No Tonic has won on her last three visits here, all by wide margins, but she's 16lb higher than her latest success. Petticoat Lucy has also won here and ran well in a similar class race at Chepstow last time while Gentle Connections, who completed a four-timer early last summer, found 2m7f much too far on the latter track in October. LADY ADARE won a bumper on her debut then completed a hat-trick over hurdles. She's had wind surgery since running poorly at Taunton in January and can bounce back. Somespring Special had been racing over much further and was due to run over 2m1f at Fontwell yesterday.
