Verdict

WIDOW ON THE RUN had been placed in a point-to-point prior to her close-up third in a Newton Abbot bumper and the switch to hurdles is a natural progression. She's preferred to Towcester bumper winner Water Willow and Lady Persephone, who has been disappointing so far over timber but should finally make the frame in what looks an ordinary contest. The others are even harder to fancy.
