Verdict

Reinator was a big disappointment when well backed on his debut at Fontwell and Tantoli also ran poorly at Worcester last month. Shallow River shaped with promise at Thurles in March, however, when trained by Mags Mullins but the vote goes to fellow Irish import THELASTHIGHKING. Despite racing keenly in a point-to-point bumper at Tipperary in May, he was only beaten half-a-length and a promising 10lb claimer will aid his cause here. Takoda won a maiden point in April while Fame And Fun will likely attract market support being a half-brother to winners on the Flat and over jumps.
