Goring One landed last year's inaugural running and is back on a winning mark while Kovera won over fences before scoring over timber at Newcastle last month but is 7lb higher today. The winning run of BERMEO came to an end at Plumpton recently but he was beaten only two lengths in a higher grade than this and Johnny Farrelly's charge may be worth sticking with back at this level.
