Verdict

Titus Mills' run in the first division will be a pointer to the chances of The Stout Italian, who finished just ahead of Tim Vaughan's charge at Ludlow. But we just prefer KARINGA DANCER. Lightly-raced for his age, he's shown definite promise over hurdles and did well to beat Suerte Al Salto, who runs earlier on the card, in a jumper's bumper at Kempton last month. Even If will now have AP McCoy's assistance from the saddle after a couple of runs in bumpers. The first foal of a Strong Gale mare, he is by King's Theatre so should improve now faced with a set of hurdles and looks a better prospect than stablemate Classical Twist. Kentford Legend may do best of the rest.
