    Verdict

Jayne's Crusader won this last year for Sally Alner with Ryeman back in third. He's been placed a couple of times between the flags recently but conditions this year will be a bit more testing and the nine-year-old may have to give best to MASSIMO. The latter quickened nicely to win a point-to-point at Bishops Court last Saturday when Wun Chai was well behind and has won twice under Rules, though it's a long time since he's appeared in a hunter chase. None of the remainder make any appeal.
