In depth

Verdict

In the opener, we will side Massasoit ahead of Theatre Girl and Presenting Copper. Unbeaten in two bumpers and traineD by the track's leading handler, Massasoit rates as a major player today. Procas de Thaix was also a very useful bumper performer who makes his hurdling debut. Presenting Copper is the one with hurdling experience and he was seconD at Grade 2 level last time so has to be given every chance today, as does Theatre Girl, who was very useful as a bumper perfomer and ended last season by finishing second to none other that Turbo Linn in the Championship bumper at Aintree. All in all, a very good race with the selection being Massasoit, although the betting will probably be a good starting point for you when it comes to analysing the contest.
