Verdict

Sandford Castle lost a shoe when just touched at Chepstow last month. He’s been raised 4lb for that but was second over course and distance earlier in the campaign and is unlikely to be far away again. BLACK CENTAUR was well supported over hurdles at Taunton last week but never threatened. However, he’s had just the two runs over fences so far so may have more to offer. Seaside Girl won on good ground at Fontwell last summer and should appreciate this better surface but she may just need this.
