In depth

Verdict

Opening Bid is 5-12 over fences but easily the most exposed and the mare Lady Adare is upped in class after scoring at Worcester. Givega is making his seasonal reappearance and chasing debut but won three times over hurdles last season and has also won a point with the unbeaten Doyen Star another interesting newcomer to fences. KNAPPERS HILL was surprisingly turned over by the more-experienced Unexpected Party on his chasing bow at Chepstow but almost certainly needed the run and it will be a surprise if the dual Grade 2 winner doesn’t recoup losses here meeting Irish raider Captain Conby off level weights.
