Verdict

Swampfire was only third in a seller at Taunton last month and will probably find at least a couple too good again this. Heading To First should go well as he was only beaten two lengths here last time after a close second at Taunton. Mount Vesuvius has been showing more signs of life lately and is another with claims being 14lb lower than his last winning mark. VERY INTENSE was only beaten four lengths by Ice Tres at Newton Abbot last month. The winner went well for a long way in a better race at that track next time so Tom Lacey's gelding may be worth an interest in this.
