      Verdict

It's impossible to put much faith in Tigger, who has been tried over a variety of trips. He's started favourite in his last two starts but looks very one-paced and it remains to be seen if the blinkers will make any difference here. Diamanpeg has more bad days than good, while Heir To Be may be getting a bit long in the tooth now and Risk Challenge is on a long losing run and still looks too high in the weights. SOUTHWAY STAR looks a bit more progressive than fellow recent winner Highland River and, having beaten Tigger at Newton Abbot in August, can follow up here under regular pilot Lee Stephens.
