In depth

Verdict

AMANTIUS is difficult to oppose in this after justifying significant market support when getting the better of a previous winner at Leicester – the first two pulled well clear. Jack Snipe is tried in cheekpieces after close-up seconds here and at Huntingdon and looks the danger. Ziggerson Hill looked to be coming to hand at Exeter last month and has each-way claims while Artiste Du Gouet has shown some promise. Staunton was third at Ludlow last month but will carry overweight.
