Not Left Yet clearly has ability but is hard to recommend on recent evidence and a better bet looks to be the novice Gungadu, who is preferred to fellow top weight Supreme Serenade. The selection has plenty of weight to carry but the Paul Nicholls-trained gelding looks to be going the right way and seems to be on a fair mark judged by recent efforts in novice hurdles. Flying Enterprise could probably do with some help from the handicapper, while Distant Prospect has a long absence to overcome. Go For Bust has claims at the weights but may prefer a faster surface; a comment that may also apply to Material World. Keith Reveley's Welcome To Unos has done little wrong of late but has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper as a result so a bigger threat may come from the Philip Hobbs-trained Supreme Serenade, who reverts to hurdles on a fair mark after a spell chasing. Gungadu is open to plenty of improvement though and he gets the vote in the hope that he can overcome inexperience and make a winning start to his handicap career.
