Verdict
Black Narcissus completed a hat-trick early last year and bounced back to score at Catterick a couple of weeks ago but is now on her highest-ever mark. Sonny The One landed a better handicap than this a year ago at Taunton and is now 1lb lower so a return to form would see him there with a shout. Paddy The Oscar isn't the most consistent but would have to be considered if in the same kind of mood that saw him runner-up at Warwick on New Year's Eve. FINANCIAL CLIMATE was in excellent form at this time in 2015 when completing a double but hasn't won since after shooting up the ratings. He's dropped back to a lowly mark and though only third of four at Warwick wasn't beaten far and looks ready to regain the winning thread.
