Verdict

Ede'iffs Elton won this contest on slower ground last year when the favourite fell early in the race. He’s undergone wind surgery since last in action while Switch Hitter was nowhere near his best on his reappearance at Cheltenham in December and better is expected. SAM BARTON has been given time to recover having bled from the nose at Ludlow in November. Emma Lavelle’s charge won on the good going at Worcester before that and gets another chance. Wake Up Early looks best of the rest on today’s ground.
