In depth

Verdict

A good turnout for a decent purse but, as is increasingly becoming the trend, the waters are muddied by French imports whose form is hard to accurately establish. However, THE BROCK AGAIN is an import to have shown a pleasing level of form since moving to Paul Nicholls when filling the minor placing behind Exitas in a useful Sandown contest on his only run for Ditcheat. He's taken to improve again and score as all his best form has been achieved on soft or worse so the forecast ground should prove ideal. Voix D'Eau is much harder to evaluate on his first run for Harry Fry after just three outings over timber in his native land. The market should prove the best guide to his chances for a yard that continues to impress. Taigan ran a cracker behind The Spirit Of Shankly at Aintree but all his best form has been delivered on better ground whilst Chill is one to take note of on his first run for Paul Henderson as he produced a string of fair efforts in Ireland.
