Verdict

Shadow Blue has run well in both starts in this country and should be capable of picking up an ordinary novice event. Beau Phil may do better now going hurdling while Gala Ball found only the smart Emerging Talent too good at Exeter and may be improving. However, Philip Hobbs also runs CASPER KING and it’s the Scorpion gelding who gets the nod as he probably came up against a decent sort on his debut over timber at Ludlow when only beaten six lengths. The Fresh Prince is probably the other one to consider.
