Verdict

CYCLOP is in the form of his life and is due to go up 10lb in the weights next week. He has left Tom Symonds for Matt Shepherd by Lilly Pinchin maintains the ride on the 10-year-old, who could win again before the handicapper has his say. The Kings Writ has form at the track and had excuses at Kempton but Midnight Tune has become unreliable. Gleno arrives on a hat-trick, however, as does fellow course winner Nearly Perfect with latter still only a seven-year-old. Another Venture ground out a win at Ludlow on his return to action but is 5lb higher in a more competitive affair.
