BOLD ADDITION is making steady progress over hurdles and this looks his easiest task to date in handicaps. He's finished a close-up fourth on both starts this season, handles soft ground and is open to further improvement. It's hard to assess the value of Tenor Nivernais' two victories over hurdles at Vichy last August and the French import is worth noting in the betting on his debut for Venetia Williams. Minnie Hill can be given a chance on the evidence of her win in heavy ground at Exeter in November but it was only a seller that If I Had Him won at Taunton last time and this is tougher.
