Chance Taken ran her best race so far when third at Warwick and a repeat of that effort here would put her in the picture but Southwell winner Pagham Belle is probably worth opposing under a penalty in this higher grade. Mistress Mole is proving hard to pin down but she did run well over 2m here on her penultimate start and Dunmallet Belle was second at Fakenham before disappointing at Ludlow. Bumper winner KNIGHT BACHELOR (NAP) has had just the two starts over timber and has come up against decent opposition in both. He was only half-a-length behind a subsequent winner last time at Catterick and looks well treated here off a mark of 105.
