Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Avoca Promise will find this easier than his latest task at Sandown and a bold bid looks likely from him while Enroller had finished runner-up at Market Rasen before being well beaten back on the Flat last time. However, THE PRETENDER was just getting into the race when falling at Newbury last month and may well have gone close with a clear round. He gets the nod to open his account over hurdles today with Kadoodd looking a likely improver on only his second start over timber.
