Fourth Act is a probable improver but winning pointer Kudu Shine has shown little under Rules so far and Monksgold was well beaten on his hurdles bow. Saint Breiz won at 66/1 over 2m here last month but was then well beaten in a three-horse race at Exeter and may struggle under a penalty. SOUTHFIELD VIC never looked comfortable on the Polytrack at Kempton last time but was earlier beaten less than 10 lengths behind Red Sherlock in a Listed bumper at Cheltenham and should be tough to beat if translating that form to hurdles. Demographic was second over 3m1f at Huntingdon in December but probably needs more here.
