In depth
Verdict
Wizard of Edge can get the better of Jurado Express and Neltina, with Uncle Wallace best of the remainder. Wizard of Edge has clearly taken a liking to Wincanton, having finished a close second on his first visit in January before going one better over the course-and-distance just over three weeks ago. The blinkers have helped keep his mind on the job, and despite a rise in the weights, he is fancied to go in again. Jurado Express showed that there is still a race to be won with him when chasing home Jacks Craic at Newbury, but the concession of weight to all makes his task that bit harder. Neltina was an early faller in the aforementioned Newbury contest, and will need to jump better to figure, while Uncle Wallace has his first outing since being pulled up in the race won by Va Vavoom at Cheltenham in December. At the age of six, Wizard of Edge has more scope than most, and looks the one to beat.
