Verdict
CANELO made a promising start over timber when narrowly beaten at Chepstow. Alan King’s charge is taken to confirm running with Captain Cattistock and Ifandabut and go one better. Storm Home also ran well on his hurdling debut when second over 2m here and is preferred to Chepstow third Vodka All The Way. Court Affairs won a bumper at Carlisle on his racecourse debut back in April while Call Me Sid finished in front of As I See It in a point-to-point early this year but both have been well beaten in bumper races subsequently.
