Verdict

Despite returning from a break, ONE CONEMARA looked fit enough to do himself justice on his hurdling debut at Ludlow last month and duly obliged. He looks a nice prospect and should follow up under a penalty here. Pay The King was a big disappointment when long odds-on at Newbury on Friday but at least finished ahead of Lower Hope Dandy. Both must be doubtful starters here but Ugly Bug deserves respect if forgiven a poor run at Warwick as he beat a good yardstick at Ffos Las earlier. Dun See Dee looks a risky proposition but Off The Wall should have benefited from his run at Newbury and may be worth noting for future reference.
