In depth
Verdict
Gaelic Flight looks a good recruit to the jumping game and can land successive victories at the expense of Racing Demon and Leroy's Sister. Noel Chance's gelding was never in trouble when easily defeating Elheba at Hereford. His jumping wasn't too polished, but will improve for the experience and he should be difficult to beat here. Racing Demon was most impressive when landing a Huntingdon bumper on his only outing last term and will no doubt have been well schooled by trainer Henrietta Knight. In receipt of seven pounds he could turn out to be the biggest threat to the selection. Leroy's Sister showed plenty of promise in three outings last season and should go well for this top yard. Senna da Silva may prove best of the others, but Gaelic Flight is the one that gets the verdict.
