In depth

Verdict

Avarchie won a bumper last year and has switched to Dan Skelton’s yard subsequently. He could go well but Paul Nicholls has won two of the last four renewals and ERITAGE, related to jumps winners in France, is preferred having landed a bumper here back in April despite carrying a penalty. Namib Dancer is another to note having placed in a Huntingdon bumper while Blazing Saddles and Escapability may prove best of those arriving from the Flat.
