Verdict
Oldrik, Littleton Aldor and Amir El Jabal form the shortlist in this handicap chase and the vote is given to Littleton Aldor. The selection unseated his rider last time out but he had previously gone close at Chepstow when he chased home Mango Catcher. There are some moderate types in opposition here and our selection looks the most reliable of the bunch, and if he can replicate that Chepstow run then he should take all the beating. Oldrik does have ability but he if he gets into a battle he is a little reluctant to go through with his effort and he was a little disappointing when last seen out at this venue. Amir El Jabal is from a yard in decent order and he has got winning form in France, although he has yet to put his best foot forward on British soil. Walsingham could prove best of the others, but all his best form is over a longer trip. Littleton Aldor looks the most likely winner and he is forwarded as the pick.
