Verdict

Though he’s been raised a further 4lb since winning at Stratford, there is no reason why top weight Esprit De Somoza won’t run his race again but KAKAMORA has only run one bad race over fences so far and that was on soft going. He’s been dropped another 2lb since his third at Ludlow and today could be his day. Winning hurdler Opening Bid finished tailed off on his chasing bow and the others are best watched until showing signs of a revival.
