In depth

Verdict

Flying Enterprise is taken to make fitness count over Captain Windsor, Risk Reversal and Witness Run. Flying Enterprise was rated as high as 137 over hurdles, and took on good company last term without managing to score. However, he has shaped with a great deal of promise in two starts over fences this term, most recently chasing home Nicky Henderson's All Star at Ascot a fortnight ago. That form is as good as anything else on offer today, and he should be capable of following up. Irish point winner Captain Windsor did not not show a great deal on his Exeter debut in March, but the Andy Stewart-owned gelding hails from the same family as Scottish National winner Captain Dibble, and will no doubt be expected to make his mark in staying chases this term. Whether he is good enough today though is open to question. Risk Reversal is another ex-Irish pointer who went straight over fences at Folkestone 16-days ago. He definitely looks one for the future, and a bigger danger may well be Witness Run, whose dam hails from the family of the great Dawn Run. Nick Gifford can get them fit first time, as the wins of Straw Bear and Sobers proves, so he should not be under-estimated. However, Flying Enterprise should have too much class here, and is the one to beat.
