      Verdict

There’s very little worthwhile form to go on in this opener but THAT’S MY GIRL stayed on nicely over 6f at Chepstow once the penny dropped. She’ll know more today and her stable has won this three times in the last six years – Richard Hannon’s Mastercraftsman filly gets the nod in the hope she handles this drop in trip. Polly's Gold represents last year’s winning yard while fellow newcomer Smooth Sailing is by Bated Breath so shouldn’t be short of speed. Misty Spirit is a half-sister to a 5f winner and her stable has a very good strike rate here with its juveniles. Fab was second on debut but failed to build on that when favourite at Wolverhampton.
